If so, you will need College Algebra and Physics. This Physics is just general, like an overview of physics concepts. However, once you enter the DMS program you will take more in depth Physics that is specific to ultrasound technology. I’m not a math person, but the math involved is not really difficult. I do think Ultrasound Physics is hard, but I maintain about a B.
Side note: make sure you find an accredited program: http://www.caahep.org/Find-An-Accredited-Program/
Good luck

There is a program in place where you can have your first degree subsidized, they reimburse 1/2 the costs up the $2000/year, with a maximum total reimbursement of $8000. You have to apply for this program, although it is relatively easy to get approval.
All CF personnel, regardless of what branch or trade learn how to use the C-7 Rifle. If you are in the army element (army med tech for example), you will also learn all the support weapons up to platoon level on your soldier qualification.
Pay rates for reservists can be found here:
http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dgcb-dgras/ps/pay-sol/pr-sol/rfncmr-mrfr-01-eng.asp
A med tech gets standard pay, so you would get 84.44/day while undergoing training. After a year you go up to the next incentive level. When you get promoted to corporal, you will go to standard-basic (123.24), then up one level every year.
Most reservists attend one evening of training per week (4 x 0.5 day/month), and one weekend a month (2.5 day), which means you can generally expect 4.5 days pay per month. However, there are always opportunities to work extra casual days, as well as full-time in the summer.
To go on an operational mission (which is voluntary for reservists), you have to first be fully qualified in your trade (usually 1-2 years), be merited by your unit, and then pass a regular force selection process and complete work-up training. You would likely be in the army reserves for 2-3 years before you get to that point, but we do have people on operations right now with about 2 years in. You also have a whole administrative screening process that has to take place, including your mental and physical health, your current social situation, financial situation, legal status (e.g. no pending lawsuits), security clearance etc. For each check item you are either green (go), yellow (pending), or red (no-go). You can’t deploy unless every one of those items is ‘green’.
