Romantic Weddings Made Easy

by Ron Thomson

One of the most memorable and important events in one's life is marriage. From young to old, and across the globe, when a relationship blooms into true and everlasting love, thoughts of a marriage ceremony dance through the lovers' imagination. They dream of the happiness and love that they will share with both family and friends, and happy are those who dream of their marriage ceremony.

Romantic relationships are very important to an individual and they are enjoyable. But finally they should lead to a meaningful marriage relationship. The disappointing thing is that now a days, not many romantic relationships are ending up in a fruitful marriage relationships. They have become very business like and formal, where you could hardly find any friends, relatives or any romantic atmosphere.

Romantic weddings are not what they used to be for many reasons. It is difficult in these days of increasing hedonism for young couples to understand the importance and repercussions of what matrimony signifies. So many have a tendency to make light of marriage. Those who see the ceremony which is supposed to bind them together for life in this way are on the road to break-up and heartrending divorce.

Some say that marriages in the western world are not as romantic as they could be. There are so many laws in place in Europe and North America which are designed to encourage families, that many people see the need to marry just to receive the many tax breaks and financial incentives on offer and to gain independence from their parents. It is unfortunate that these well meaning laws are being exploited by couples who do not treat marriage with the respect it deserves.

Although it's unfortunate, romantic relationships do not always lead to happy marriage relationships. How many married couples do you know who have an almost business-like arrangement 'you do your thing and I'll do mine?' They may have found pleasure and meaning in their romantic relationship before marriage, but somehow, marriage did not live up to their expectations.

A couple that plans on getting married should try to make their wedding romantic. Some ways to do this would be to consider romantic venues for the wedding, and romantic decor for the wedding. Family and friends are also an important part of the romantic wedding, it would in fact be a great idea to record the whole ceremony on video to preserve it for life.

It is very important for the couples to plan for a honeymoon and go for an extended vacation together. The vacation place should be romantic, beautiful and should provide the privacy for the couple. Some of these simple things will ensure that the flame of love that was lit on their wedding day will brighten their marriage relationship throughout their life.

People of all ages all over the world would like to cherish and share their marriage relationship day with others. However, nowadays many romantic relationships end in unsuccessful marriage because people do not realize the importance of matrimony. This is because many couples make light of the marriage ceremony and some even exploit benefits available for this purpose in developed countries. To make marriage work, couples should plan on romantic weddings with venues, family & friends and vacations. These along with making time for each other and intimacy, help make a marriage successful with a bond that lasts a lifetime.
