Exercise to Look Younger
Muscles on the face lose elasticity over time thus the aged appearance and wrinkles start to develop. Neck and throat muscles on the other hand shows quicker aging than the face which makes them more challenging to treat. With the presence of these unwanted folds of tired looking skin, exercises are developed as to assist in the toning these muscles.
Here are some exercises specifically designed for the neck and throat area. These procedures involve sitting and lying positions often done when one wants to take a break from work or just simply relax.
1.Sit upright and tilt the head back looking at the ceiling. Keep the lips closed. Then start a chewing movement. Feel the muscles working in the neck and throat area and get amazed with the results. Do 20 sets for this procedure.
2. While sitting upright with the head looking at the ceiling, keep lips closed and relaxed. Open the lips and stick the tongue as if it was trying to touch the chin with its tips. Keep the tongue out in this position for 10 counts; return the tongue and the head back to its normal position.
3. Sit upright with head back looking at the ceiling. Keep lips closed and relaxed. Move the lower over the top lip as far as possible and keep it until the count of 5. Relax and repeat the procedure 5 times.
4. While sitting upright, move the face forward and keep the lips together. Separate the teeth by dropping the jaw and pushing it forward until the count of 10. Return with the starting position and repeat 5 times.
5. While lying on the bed, hang the head down over the edge. Slowly bring the head up towards the torso until the count of 10. Relax and lower the head towards the floor and repeat the procedure for 5 times.
These throat and neck exercises will surely change the way one looks. Doing the procedure daily would not take that much time. So while taking a break or before going to sleep, the process of achieving that younger look can be achieved.
